Gather Round was a big weekend for two of our timekeepers. Chris Doyle’s first match was his 100th AFL match – North Melbourne v. Brisbane in the beautiful Barossa. On the same day Peter Honeyman timekept his second match of the round to also bring up his 100th AFL match in that role – Hawthorn v. Western Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval.
Adding in his 49 AFL matches as goal umpire, the Round 6 match Adelaide v. St.Kilda was Peter’s 150th combined appointment

This week it is well done to timekeeper Michael Sexton who brought up the triple-ton when he was on the clock (and the siren) for the Western Bulldogs v. Essendon clash at Docklands.

The first congratulations of 2026 go to Brad Noonan who completed his 350th match at Essendon v. North Melbourne at Docklands on Sunday 28 March.
